Information and public services for the Island of Jersey
We anticipate the Portal and Register will be back online on Tuesday 26 August 2025.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused while we make system upgrades to improve the service going forward.
You will not have access to the Portal. This means you will not be able to submit new applications, upload documents, submit post-decision applications/appeals, or send any messages to us via the Portal.
Any applications that would have qualified for a 'free go' due to being refused or withdrawn between 20 and 25 February 2025 may be submitted without a fee, if submitted between 26 August and 31 August 2025, once the Portal is live again.
You will not be able to make payments for planning applications.
You will still be able to appeal decisions by using the paper appeal forms and submitting it to the Judicial Greffe by post or hand delivery.
Applications with a consultation/publicity end date between 20 to 25 August 2025 will have decisions issued no earlier than one week following the original target date, to allow an additional period of time for consultee responses.
You will not be able to submit online comments regarding pending planning applications.
All affected pending applications in their publication period, will have an extension of one-week for public comments, to account for this period of closure.
Contact us if you need to speak to someone about any government services you are trying to access
Opening times: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm
